Prepare your BILLY for finishing details
Position, level and secure your bookcases before fitting decorative accessories.

Set the final position first
Assemble and position your bookcases using the furniture manufacturer's instructions. Check the full row before adding decorative parts: fronts should align and adjacent tops should be at the same height.
Leave access to any fixings you still need to reach. If the furniture does not sit correctly, resolve that first rather than using trim to hide the problem.
Secure the furniture as instructed
Follow the manufacturer's wall-anchoring instructions, using fixings appropriate to your wall. Ask a qualified installer if you are unsure about the wall or the required hardware.
Crown molding and alignment accessories are decorative finishing parts. They do not replace wall anchors or anti-tip hardware.
Lay out and dry-fit the crown pieces
Check the kit contents against its included installation guide. Arrange the front sections and side pieces in order before fitting them to the top of the bookcase.
Fit the pieces gently and check the joins. Modular connections and fine 3D-print layer lines may remain visible; compare with the close-up product photographs. If anything does not fit, stop and send us a photo before modifying a part.
Follow the guide for your product
BILLY crown molding is supplied in a solid matte colour. It is a different product from doorway arch forms, which need adhesive, seam finishing, primer and paint.
Follow the instructions for the product you ordered. For additional fillers, wall trim or alterations to your furniture, plan those separately from the molding kit. Review the result from the front and at both ends before putting the room back together.
